Has anyone seen The Hurt Locker? It's about a bomb defusing guy in Iraq circa 2004 and it's one of the best war movies I've ever seen (plus it boasts an unbelievable 98% at rotten tomatoes)
It was superbly acted and one of the most intense movies ever - I highly recommend you go check it out if you can find a theater that's playing it.

Hmm... I haven't seen it. It has a lot of profanity. This is a maybe watch sometime in the future, but it's not one I'd pay $7.50 to see.

It's out finally? I really want to go see that movie ; if it wasn't rated R, I would. Sadly, I would not be permited entrance unless I have an adult that would be willing to go. Which I don't.

You could probably sneak in...Ben Linus wrote:It's out finally? I really want to go see that movie ; if it wasn't rated R, I would. Sadly, I would not be permited entrance unless I have an adult that would be willing to go. Which I don't.
But really, it was amazing - if not mega intense.

Ha. Sadly, I'm not a NInja I'll just have to see it when It comes out on DVD. My mum likes those kinda of movies to, so she doesn't care if it's rated R. Untill then, I'll just have to suffer without awesome movies

Cant see it :C
....because it has a lot of profanity? Are the reviews you're reading telling you if a movie is actually good...or just how much profanity/sexual stuff is in a movie.American Eagle wrote:Hmm... Noooo it's a SIN to watch something that has to much profanity We must be careful because we'll go to hell if we watch something like that. We must be careful of what you watch Tyler!

Ick. I hate when movie reveiws do that, all they say is how much sexual/profanity is in a movie, then they say because of that, it stinks--without even getting into the plot! What I usually do instead of looking for a reveiw before a movie, I only go see the ones in theatre's that I'm at elast 999.9% sure are good, and the others I just get on DVD from a library when they come out.Tyler wrote:....because it has a lot of profanity? I didn't read any reviews. I did check the IMDb Parental Guide, and it said lots of profanity (50+ f-words). Like I said, I may watch it on DVD eventually, but I won't in theaters. Besides, I'm 14. It would be illegal for me to do so.Tyler wrote:....because it has a lot of profanity? Actually no it wouldn't, it would only be illegal for you to do so without an adult or guardian.

Hmm... I never knew that. But, I've only watched like 5 movies in theaters in my lifetime (Left Behind, Ice Age, Bella, Expelled, Up), so I'd be amazed if I see this in theaters. I'm not saying it's a bad movie or anything! I'm just saying I don't have plans to kidnap an adult and drag him into this movie with me.xiao wrote:Actually no it wouldn't, it would only be illegal for you to do so without an adult or guardian.

It is currently in limited release (523 theaters), and June 26 was its original release date. It may get expanded to more theaters if the distributor thinks it will be financially successful. We'll have to wait and see.Iron and Light wrote:When did it come out?
