Diary of a Wimpy Kid
I just saw the trailer for it yesterday. Thoughts?
"Death's got an Invisibility Cloak?" "So he can sneak up on people. Sometimes he gets bored of running at them, flapping his arms and shrieking..."
"And now the spinning. Thank you for nothing, you useless reptile."
"It unscrews the other way."

I have never heard of it. Is there a preview of it on YouTube?

The trailer's on YouTube, but a lot of people aren't looking forward to the movie because of the trailer. You'd think that the trailer would show parts that get fans interested, but a lot of fans aren't interested because of the things in the trailer.

I've read through the book (at Barnes and Nobles for about a half hour with the world looking at me) and I find it very hilarious. I've never found out about the video; I wonder what it's like.

I saw the trailer several weeks ago. It looks very... meh. Maybe see it with my family on DVD.

Yeah, um, it looks very crude and, as AE said, meh. Personally, I don't read the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books, but from what I know, Zach Mills would be a much better Greg.
What do you think?

I've never been to into the books--I tend to read 'em just for funsies. I'll probably just rent it when it comes out on DVD; I'm not paying seven-bucks-fifty just to go see it in theaters; there are much better movies out there.

Its not something I would rush out to see but the trailer amused me. Obviously I'm not the target audiance but if it was on tv in a few years I might watch it.

Woah, this movie is getting raved reviews by the average moviegoer (A cinemascore). Even good reviews by critics. Maybe it's better than the trailer suggests.

Wow. One of the first PG movies I've ever heard of that's turning out to be better than the trailer.

well I apreciated it more because I read all the books. it was pretty funny but there was a few weird A.K.A. innapropriate parts.
