Favorite Music Genre
I like some Christian and Celtic, but mostly instrumental-- classical, mainly. Piano, soundtracks, actually, now that I think about it, a wide variety. But I'll say my favorite is classical. How about y'all?

w00t! FOR CELTIC!!!!! Christian Folk (mostly because that's the genre they put JJ Heller into) I also love songs from Musicals. "All I want is a room somewhere, far away from the cold night air..."

Yep love the fiddle, and the pipes, they have such a bittersweet sound. I've also started paying more attention to the drums in the background since I got my very own Bodhran.

Country, but only the clean stuff. I know there's lots of bad country out there.

Rock-alternative, show tunes, and Owl City.
You sound JUST like me! We need to talk sometime! That's exactly about what my music tastes are. I also like flute music.KelitaArcher wrote:I like some Christian and Celtic, but mostly instrumental-- classical, mainly. Piano, soundtracks, actually, now that I think about it, a wide variety. Owl City is totally it's own genre. And one of the few I listen to! Let's see... in other generes... Ska, Punk, Rock, Electro Rock...bluegrass...Amethystic wrote:Rock-alternative, show tunes, and Owl City.

I've never listened to Owl City. Anna... yes, you reminded me that I also love country... but like you said, only the clean stuff. I've heard way too much of the rotten kind. Not out of my own will, though, of course. A DJ guy comes and plays it at our local farmers' market. Yuck.

I love Musical Theatre. I love the musicals of Cats, Singing in the Rain, Sound of Music, Mary Poppins, Lion King, Wicked, and You're A Good Man Charlie Brown
I love words. I love to sing them and speak them and even now, I must admit, I have fallen into the joy of writing them.

I would say Gospel, and Christian Bluegrass. I also love to both listen to and play Celtic music.

Play Celtic? On what instrument?
80's, Christian rock, and a lot of others.
