Break Free

Post by jelly »

So a couple of my friends made this pretty awesome song called 'Break Free', and so I agreed to direct the music video. It's the first music video I've ever directed. :o

Anyways let me know what you think!

I was going to like it on Facebook, but then I forgot. :-

ANYWAY. Dude, the editing was crazy awesome. Looked like a professional did it. And the shots were sweet, too. \:D/

w00t thanks guys! \:D/

I used Adobe Premiere Pro for this one. Really, though, I use any editing software that can handle HD footage. Unless you're shooting for some specialized effects, which I'm usually not, basic editing techniques can be achieved using pretty much anything.

If I had a Mac, though... :(

I loved the location shooting, the song wasn't bad either. Overall I thought it was pretty well done.

Awesome job.

Anyways. GUESS WHAT GUYS. So the video started getting passed around and stuff, and it was being sent to different Christian organizations and TV programs. I dunno how many of you have heard of the 100 Huntley Street Show (I hadn't until like last week), but I guess it's this popular TV program that's based in Canada, and they invited me and everyone else who was in the video to be on their show . \:D/ I'm a little sketchy on the details right now, but I think we're shooting on the 17th of October!

Is it on YouTube? My iPod can't watch it on vimeo.

And that is super cool, Jelly!

That is fantastic. I'll most definitely try to tune in when it's aired. Hopefully I won't be in class.
