Terra Nova

Post by bookworm »

Did anyone watch the premiere of Terra Nova last night? From the commercials it looked like the kind of show I’d like, but I didn’t watch because I was unsure how family friendly it is. (My younger brother would probably be watching too.)
If anyone saw it and can give their opinion I might tune in to the reair on Saturday.

I didn't watch it, (in fact I had never heard that of it before.) but Wikipedia has information on it.

I heard if you watch it at midnight during a full moon and say "Terra Nova" ten times, a dinosaur will appear and eat you.

I watched it online and I thought it was fairly interesting, however if you are one of the uber Christian trolls you will hate it. If you are not crazy in that fashion it's a good show, however it is a bit violent and intense at times therefore it is rated 14A for a reason. (Yay! rating systems).

Could you elaborate a bit 31899?
I’m not that worried about violence, unless it’s really unnecessarily excessive.
I was concerned more about sexual content.

Unless you are one of those people who never goes to the beach you aren't going to have a problem/ the worst scene that way is a short swimming scene.

I’m glad I watched, I really liked it and so did my brother. Thanks again! :)
This thread may now be used to discuss the episodes as the season progresses if anyone wishes to.

We were going to watch, and then my musician dad realized that the Sing-Off was on at the same time. :( So I watched it on the internet instead. \:D/ All of the episodes I've seen have totally rocked! I think the memory disease was the best episode thus far. And can I just say, Hurray for all the British People!

Yay for someone finally commenting! :D
I also really like the show. But I went to a friend’s house for Halloween so I missed last night’s episode!
I was going to record it but I forgot to set the timer!
I’ll have to record next week’s and not watch it until the last one is online.

The last one is online (at least in Canada).

I really like the soundtrack.

I've only seen the first two episodes, but I loved them! I'm watching online on Hulu. I'm trying to catch up so I can watch each new one as it comes out. How many episodes have there been so far?

They're up to episode 5 now. Definitely a show I'm going to to be watching, I like the concept and the execution is pretty well done. And I like a good scifi show...

Could you give a link?

We’re trying to figure out who is the Sixers’ inside man. I know there’s that guy that’s going to try to bring Josh’s girlfriend over, but I’m thinking their real informer might be someone else because I don’t think it would be revealed that soon to us. That guy is obviously friendly with the Sixers, but I don’t know if he’s actually one of them.
My mom thinks it’s Dr. Malcolm.

This website might not like you http://video.citytv.com/video/show/terr ... 294965012/

I don't think it's Doctor Malcolm, but I'm not sure it is the bar owner either, though I feel like at one point they will suspect Dr. Malcolm.

Ok, so my question is, Malcom recomended Mrs. Shannon, but, if there is no way back, how did he (in Tera Nova) comunicate with 2149? A minor detail, I know, but I'm just a nit-picky person when it comes to movies, TV shows, radio shows etc.

In one episode they mentioned that they can contact 2149 when the portal is open.

I definitely don’t think it’s Dr. Malcolm, but I don’t have any other suspicions.
