I don't mean to bump, but does anybody know if Fox is doing a second season?

Of course you meant to bump, how else can discussion of this great show continue?

I don’t think they’ve decided yet, but last I heard it wasn’t looking good. :(

True that.

Seriously? :( It was a good show. Protest or something. :P

Yeah, the fans they do have are very supportive, but it’s the quantity that bothers them not the quality.
They don’t think it gained enough viewers to warrant the incredible production cost.

I was going to look into it. But since there's no way to watch it now besides Hulu Plus...

FOX has renewed the options for Jason O’Mara and Stephen Lang, so that’s good. It really doesn’t mean anything as far as their decision, but it’s good because if they do decide to continue they won’t have to recast.

Jason has been suggesting some things they could do to improve the show if it does continue.
He thinks they need to have better dinosaurs: “Maybe it’s better to have a totally awesome dinosaur in one episode, rather than seeing a dinosaur every episode that isn’t quite there.”
And suggests James Earl Jones for the role of an even badder bad guy: “We need to find out who the baddest dude is and bring him into our story.”

Here’s an interesting way to show your support.

I really do hope the show is renewed. It was rather enjoyable.

The announcement was finally made. We probably could have figured it wouldn’t be good news after all the delay.

Terra Nova has officially been cancelled by FOX.
There is an attempt to get another network to pick it up, so not all hope is lost, but this is very disappointing.

That's a real shame. I enjoyed Terra Nova. I hope they do get the other network to pick it.

If it does move, the only way I’ll be able to keep watching live is if it goes to NBC. If it’s somewhere else, it better still be available online.

It looks like the kind of thing Syfy would pick up.

It seems pretty certain this isn’t going to be picked up again for tv, but a motion comic is being released to continue the story. That’s better than nothing. Except that it’s apparently only available with a code from the just released dvd set. Also, it’s unclear if this is actually an official continuation, or just a do it yourself thing where fans can take the story wherever they want.

I know :(. I think all show cancellations should have to be passed through me before they are approved. ;)

Well, now we can all be obsessed with Revolution!

It looks interesting, but I think it'll probably only last as long as Terra Nova...

I assume your remark is inferring that Revolution will be a replacement for Terra Nova? I don’t understand where this idea is coming from. My brother said the same thing, when he first saw a Revolution commercial he went ‘Look, NBC is trying to copy Terra Nova.’ I don’t get it. Revolution is nothing like Terra Nova, why are so many people putting them in the same sentence?

So did I. I really enjoyed their portrayal of 2149 and their technology.

I still remember watching Terra Nova with my whole family, it was a really good show.
