So everyone excited about the fiftieth anniversary? It's coming up relatively soon, November 23. Any ideas on what might happen or what you'd like to see happen? Any comments on Doctor Who in general?

This is indeed exciting \:D/ I'm not sure what I want to happen, but I hope whatever it is that it's amazing.

I know they're doing an audio drama about the classic incarnations of the Doctor. I've yet to hear anything about the contemporary incarnations being featured.

Oh, did you guys hear how eleven different children's authors will each be writing a story about one of the eleven Doctors? I believe Eoin Colfer was confirmed to be writing the first story, which is about the first Doctor.

Big Finish's contract with BBC doesn't allow them to use the current Doctors, 9-11, which is quite unfortunate. This means 8 is their current Doctor. And has been since they started with their audio dramas in 1999.

Freema isn't returning for the 50th :(

BBC must bring back David Tennant, the love of my life, or I'll go on strike :x

Other than that, I'm really excited \:D/ I hope that there's a strong storyline that ties in as many past Doctors/ Companions as possible.

Well, this ought to be good.

I predict... a joke about the 100th anniversary or so.

The 100th anniversary of Doctor Who takes place during the same year as first contact with Vulcans, 2063. Coincidence? I THINK NOT!

Also this. Best Doctor eva:

I liked Matt Smith. David Tennant was good, but Matt Smith is better, imo. Probably to be a foil to Mutterbug's infatuation with Tennant. ;)

I'll try to stifle my outburst of disagreement and just say I'm tired of comparing them.

Both are good in different ways. But Tennant will be my doctor forever :)

Tennant is better, true. But Smith never fails to lure me in with his unique charm. Though Six blows the roof off all of them.
