You know when that rumor was going around that there could be a spin-off Odyssey? And a lot of you really liked that idea, especially because it would be for older audiences..? Well, there may be a chance of a radio drama (for older ears) actually happening! Only, it won't be a spin-off of AIO.

Do any of you remember that audio drama I posted that my sister created? Well. Er, we are trying to make that "homemade audio drama" into an actual radio show called Later Days. Imagine what my family made....only recorded in an actual studio, with original music, better actors, and better writing! I mean, it sounds pretty awesome right?

The show will center around kids that are freshmen in high school and their teachers (the school will be the center location for the show). Unlike Odyssey, this show will be more realistic to today's society, and will, in turn, mainly focus on the viewpoint of non-Christians (so we can focus on more issues). Also, there will be more mature content in the issues the kids and adults deal with. Our goal is to reach kids 12 to adult that are Christian and non-Christian alike, in order to share Christ's message and teach life lessons. Also note, that it will be more comedic then Odyssey...and more serious at the same time.

Though, before we can look at a long term show, we need to get the pilot episode out there. Our goal right now is, to create a Christmas themed episode to air on the radio this Christmas season, and to share the true meaning of CHRISTmas to everyone. And if God wants to take it further (and people really like it), then I say, lets do it! But for now, we are focusing only on one episode.

That's where YOU come in! We have a Facebook Fan Page set up to get people familiar with us. And we are trying to get 1,000 "likes" on there (before the end of August), so that when we submit it to radio stations, they will see there is already a fan base supporting the idea.

So please, if you have a facebook PLEASE go LIKE the page and SHARE it with ALL your friends. I mean, if every one of you (that are actively on here) like our page, that would be 30-40 likes alone! As for an update on our progress, we are making the last few adjustments to the script and are almost done casting. So things are going pretty good. For a little insider, my sister (Ardent Filmer), my dad, and possibly my older brother will be acting in it....and there is a 95% chance that I will be acting in it as well. So yay for me! We are trying to make and keep this a family project as much as we can. Oh, yeah, and I don't know if you know who she is, but we may be able to get Kera O'Bryon to act in it too! As for an update. We are doing a LOT more revisions to the script than we had planned, so we don't know how this will effect our plans. However, if that's what it takes to make a good show (episode), then so be it. On a good note, we had a brainstorming session and we came up with a lot of new ideas for the episode.

Will any of the characters be named, oh, maybe Josh?
