The average cost of a 30 second commercial this year was around $4 million, a new record.

Which ones stuck out to you?

Last year’s discussion.

The Budweiser commercial is my favorite.

We really had some pretty bad commercials this year. Not impressed. However I did enjoy the Clydesdale one, and the one about the stain.

The Doritos commercial with the goat was pretty awesome. I could have done that thing's voice!

Oh yeah the Goat one! That was pretty hilarious... the Coke one was cool too... I totally voted for the girl's in the bus with the confetti cannon ;)

The commercials really didn’t seem up to par this year to me. Nothing incredibly funny, nothing extremely memorable.
These were the ones that I thought stood out.

Good:
Funny because it was humorous:

Funny because it was random:

In Between:
I’m not sure what to make of this one, but it has to be mentioned:

Not extremely funny, but humorous:

Bad:
Weirdest:

Worst:
The GoDaddy kiss one. Not even going to link it. >_>

Apparently the total amount paid was greater then the national spending allowance.

The best one was the Budweiser one:
As far as humorous ones, I would have to go with the Taco Bell ad:

One of the best commercials of all-time, and I'm surprised that only Woody mentioned it, was Dodge's "God Made a Farmer":

I laughed the most at Doritos' "Goat 4 Sale", while Jeep's "Whole Again" commercial was also touching.

Has anyone taken up the Iron Man 3 trailer on the "extended look" they promised?

Seriously. Take a look. It's great.

My two favorites:

The Montanna Stain (Tide)

Even though it was predictable
(though, I didn't predict the "Go Ravens" at the end)
, I still thought it was the funniest one of the night.

So God Made a Farmer (Ram)

This one was great, because it was pretty much the only serious one of the night. It really struck my heart (yes, I teared up a little bit... :P ). I have a new level of recpect for the folks at Dodge now, because they didn't feel the need to make some stupid somercial that's supposed to be funny, or make something sexually appealing (GoDaddy...)... Nope. They made a good, wholesome, two minute commercial, that demonstrated morals, hard work, and even God, be it in a slightly obscure way...

The best part about it, I think, was the fact that I didn't feel as though someone had cheated me out of two minutes of my life at the end...

An excellent commercial, to say the least.
