Broadchurch/Gracepoint

Without divulging any of the spoilers, I thought we might like to discuss the heart-wrenching, mind-blowing mystery series known as Broadchurch, the planned second season, as well as the upcoming American remake, which will also feature David Tennant in approximately the same role as in the original series: http://tennantnews.blogspot.ca/2013/10/ ... emake.html

Personally, I'm a sucker for murder mysteries, but Broadchurch is so different from other mystery shows because rather than treating murder victims as disposable plot points, it really explores the tragic dynamics of a single, horrific murder, and in the process drags a whole lot of other skeletons out of the closet. Naturally it has a huge draw for Doctor Who fans because it features David Tennant and Arthur Darvill, but while that was what got me watching, this series was amazing in its own right. It's not an easy watch, but it was definitely worth it.
