Personally, I saw Romeo and Juliet as less of a love story and more of a cautionary tale about brash decisions, teenage idiocy, and the ludicrosity of family feuds. The word "love" is thrown around far too much to describe the hormone-addled emotions of two teenagers who first saw each other—and didn't even speak to each other—at a costume party. ;)
