Judging by the last box office numbers I saw, anyway.

I never saw the first Dragon but it looked fun.

NO OKAY UGH I'M CRYING

-flails about-

I've been following this sequel obsessively since July of last year. I'm super pumped for the sequel! :D I would have probably tried to wheedle going to the midnight premiere out of my parentals, but I was on a missions trip at the time, so movies were out of the question. ;) I'm seeing it the first chance I get, which will probably be on Monday, and in the meantime I'll content myself with listening to the BEAUTIFUL SCORE OF HAPPINESS AND WONDERFULNESS.

I was sort of looking forward to this movie, but then I read a spoiler that made me doubt if I really wanted to see it...

MASSIVE SPOILER BELOW:
So, I read that Hiccup's father dies..not only that, but is killed by Toothless.... O_O

Sorce: http://www.hypable.com/2014/06/13/how-t ... planation/

So, I probably won't be watching this in theaters..we'll see about when it comes on DVD, but I don't really want to be bawling my eyes out in the theater..

I really want to see this movie. The original was very good and well done. So, I'm sure the sequel will be great! I probably won't see it in theaters though, but I plan to see it as soon as it is released on DVD.

NONO. nonononononono. Go see it. I promise you, it is worth the money. Regardless of the spoiler, the movie is so fantastic. It does not disappoint, not a single bit. The scenery is great, the music is unbelievable, the animation is top-notch, and the characters—holy fudgesicles, the character interaction and development in this film is incredible. The movie takes what the first one did and kicks it up a notch, and it does not fail. Not once. It is absolutely worth seeing in theaters. You'll cry like a baby, sure, but then you'll cheer like a USA fan after today's World Cup match afterward.

Well, I just saw it! I spontaneously went to the theater today due to excessive boredom and loneliness. Anyway, it was very good! I love that the story plot was original and unpredictable. I laughed and almost cried. It was a great movie. One of the best movie sequels I have ever seen!

This movie was just so great. :inlove: I just adore Toothless, and I would give anything to have my own cuddly dragon. *huggles aggressively*
But oh my goodness, Hiccup's mother, Stoic's death.... It was so beautifully heartbreaking. That scene when Stoic first sees Valka again... wow. And then when Toothless loses himself and kills Stoic but later becomes the Alpha... holy cannolis.
