I have no idea what it is (I didn’t watch the premiere last night, I have no intent of watching the show, I just wanted to share the trailer to see if anyone else had thoughts) but from what I piece together it seems to be about the immediate aftermath of the crucifixion, which is an interesting idea. When I first saw this I thought it was just milking the success of the Bible series for no good reason, but now I think there might be something at least decent here.

A lot of stories tend to do Jesus’ death and then skip right to His resurrection. It could be interesting to take a look at what’s going on in the three days in between. What the Sanhedrin was doing, thinking they finally took care of their problem with Jesus, and what the Disciples’ lives were like trying to process what just happened and figure out what to do next.
