Favorite Crime Shows

Post by Mountain_Girl »

So, I'm into crime shows now. Was wondering if anyone else was and what are your top three.

So vote for you top three, list them in your post and explain why you like them. Sorry if I miss one in the list.

Mine is:

1. Criminal Minds
2. NCIS: LA
3. Scorpion

All CBS shows, but that is the only channel I can get. But I do like Bones when I can watch it, when I go to visit my parents.

I like Criminal Minds because it makes me think, I like to see if I can figure it out before they do. I also like to see how they solve the case.
NCIS: LA is mostly for the action. I love chase scenes, both car and on the run. Plus I like Deeks and Kensi and Nell and Eric.
Scorpion is pretty much the same as Criminal Minds.

I used to watch Criminal Minds. That showed scared the living daylight out of me. o_o I haven't watched recently though and don't plan to. It was still a pretty good show. :)

Okay, I switched it. I took Motive (I doubt anyone had seen that one....do many watch Canadian TV?) and replaced it with Monk. I can't add anymore. :(

Sue Thomas F.B. Eye was one of my favorites! Sherlock IS one of my favorites!

I actually just got through watching Veronica Mars all the way through. My main thought throughout was: "OH MY GOSH, this is fanTASTIC! Why didn't anyone TELL me!?" So that's probably my favorite right now.

I voted for Monk, but only because my real favorites aren't up there. ;)

Like I said, I'm sorry if I missed any. I can only put so many on the list and I'm at the max.
I actually just got through watching Veronica Mars all the way through. My main thought throughout was: "Golly Gee Whilikers!, this is fanTASTIC! Why didn't anyone TELL me!?" So that's probably my favorite right now.
I actually didn't know Veronica Mars was a crime show.

Aren't they!? I don't watch The Following, but the episodes I have seen are amazing!

I also noticed I didn't put Columbo or Murder She Wrote which are my mom's favorites or Starsky and Hutch. again, I only have so much room and there is a lot of shows (both old and new) out there. I'm just hitting the ones that many people would probably watch.

Hmmm, didn't think of that. Thanks!

Edit: got it all sorted!

How to Get Away With Murder had me pretty captivated in its first season, so that would be up there on my list. I absolutely love Person of Interest, but my all-time favorite is Sherlock. I can't wait for season 4 in December.

P.S. Scorpion would probably be fourth on that list.

There is also Burn Notice and Cold Case AND PSYCH (does that one count? =p).. Not that I watch Cold Case or Burn Notice. MY FAVORITES ARE MONK AND PSYCH. =D I don't watch any other crime shows.

As for Monk, I just love the character of Adrian. He just has such a childlike innocence and sweetness to him, you can't help but love him. =p I also like how the show really gets into the story of Adrian (and the other characters) and isn't so caught up in just the cases.
