Actually looks pretty entertaining, although that may just be my love for Zachary Levi. 
Not nearly dark and brooding enough for a DC film, though.

I still think it's weird they just call him by his super secret magic word now instead of Captain Marvel. I mean, I get it with Marvel's Captain Marvel coming out soon and its always been a confusing issue in the comics, but still doesn't seem right.

I have no interest in this movie. I think it looks super dumb, and not in a good way.
I hear a lot of people thinking it looks really fun though, so I guess it's just not my thing.Re: Shazam!

Perhaps more info will make it more appealing, but I'm with book on this one..
Plot seems to be lacking.. some of the humor is good, but not all of it in my opinion.

I was totally unfamiliar with the entire Shazam thing prior to this thread, which I saw a few times before I bothered to watch the trailer but it actually does look kind of fun! I guess it could go either way, but I was definitely more entertained than I expected to be by the trailer.

This. Movie. Is. Amazing.
It is legit a rip from the comics onto the screen and that is perfect. It is everything I asked for and more with a Shazam! movie. To put it bluntly, only D.C. Movie that beats it is Dark Knight, and only Marvel movies that beat it are Infinity War, Homecoming, Into the Spider-Verse,and winter Soldier, oh and Logan.

Wow, that's quite the endorsement. I thought it looked decent but wasn't too excited, but it's always nice to hear a good review!

I've decided to actually give this a shot. I still think it looks more dumb than fun, but I've heard only glowing reviews so maybe the marketing just isn't hitting me right.
