The title makes sense, Jman. :)

The Sound of Music
- I don't know why, but this one has always stuck out as one that hit an emotional note for me personally. It didn't make me cry, but I think the "Climb Evry Mountain" song was pretty inspirational. \:D/

The Passion of the Christ
- Wow, he entire movie was extremely emotional for me. I share my thoughts in this thread.

Oh yeah--I used to bawl when I would watch Rescuer's Down Under, because they never went back to save all those animals trapped in the cages and since their owner had died--how would they survive? I would just imagine all the cute animals shriveling in their cages......

How did the movies: TROY and HERO inspire the people that posted them?

I AM SAM made me cry. It was just heartwrenching.

I don't know why I said Troy... I just liked that, but Hero made me cry. It had such a sad ending. :anxious:

Me too! They end where they all bowed to the Hobbit's, and Frodo's leaving had me bawling.
Phantom of the Opera did too.
POTC inspired me....don't know why, but it did. The awesome music I guess. \:D/
And I always cry at the end of "Beauty and the Beast."

If you mean the fairly recent version with Anne Hatheway, then I have seen it. I liked it, but it was obvious that it was based off of a Charles Dickens book! ;) It was dark and sad at times, lots of family connections, and plenty of orphans! I agree with AIOfan11 that it was sad, but it was also enjoyable for the most part.
