Titanic

Post by querida »

I just saw titanic on the weekend at a friends house. It's such a great movie. Who's you favourite character and what was the saddest part for you?

When the mom was telling her children a story just before the bost sank and when Jack died.

I liked Mr. Andrew's and Jack best.
maybe its not the destination, maybe it's the journey

The saddest part for me was having to watch it! :D

I just don't like Leo DeCaprio . . . :noway:

Saw it when it was in the theatre. Here's my one word review:
"Overhyped."

I really liked it. It's not a movie I'd watch over and over because it's sad. Yes, It's a chick flick. Almost all women dream of their "knight in shining armor" to come in and rescue them.

I saw it in the theatre with a friend who was a HUGE Leo fan. The movie was and is not one of my favorites. I personally do not like Leo. I liked Kate Winslet's character the best.

I've seen the ending before, but I've never watched the whole thing.
No offense meant to those who like it, but I've heard that there's some bad stuff in it.
There's a movie about the Titanic called A Night to Remember that's really good.

I have yet to see the movie (I shock a lot of people with that ;)) and I have no intention of doing so, though I suppose I might one day. I didn't like doing what was "popular" at the time that it came out, and heard some negative things about the content, and never wanted to see it. By now, I doubt that the content would bother me was much, but I still don't really want to see it.

I've seen it. It's long, and yeah, as someone said, it's a chick flick. I wouldn't recommend it unless you have the time to kill or something, whatever sinks your ship. ;)

I guess I'm an exception to the rule here. ;) Titanic is actually one of my favorite movies! \:D/ Before anyone starts jumping to conclusions, however, I must make note that I own an edited version of this movie. I know that the original film is pretty bad as far as content goes - I've never seen it unedited. But as far as the edited Titanic goes, I think it's awesome! :D

Trinarius is back. Kind of.

If it had Tom Hanks and big guns in it, I would like it more. :(

Now that would have been better! At least Saving Private Ryan lived up to the hype. That was a well made movie with a good script and great acting. Titanic was none of those things. I can watch SPR over and over again. I'd rather have sharp things poked in my eye than watch Titanic again. ;)

Yes, the movie is really inappropiriate and offensive and the "good guy" (don't remember his name) and also the girl make some unintelligent decisions, like when she decided not to go in the boat, et c. It was a bad movie and not worth seeing.

The best part of the movie was when they played John Ryan's!

I've still not seen this movie, though I'd like to at least see the parts where everything falls about and people drown! \:D/

That bunny version was hilarious! My brother Bradley saw it, and we showed it to our older brother, and now sometimes we quote from it!
