Wow.

Let's see how many he got....
:10 - Sometimes I probably do. :anxious:
:15 - Definitely.
:19 - I've never heard of wishbone... Unless we're talking about poultry. O:)
:23 - I probably will be this year...
:27 - I don't think that's ever happened.
:32 - Yep. Well maybe not for vacation specifically, but it has probably happened.
:34 - I don't have a treehouse.
:39 - We don't watch movies. But if I did, that would be the only R rated thing I'd even consider seeing.
:47 - See above.
:51 - I don't think I understand that one.
:56 - We don't take field trips much. At least they aren't called that when we do...
1:01 - Most of my friends are homeschooled, but I've probably had that happen once or twice.
1:04 - Nope. Just two.
1:05 - Absolutely no idea.
1:09 - Never heard of it.
1:15 - THIS. \:D/
1:21 - Yes. That's the main thing I like to do for fun...
1:27 - See :47's entry

It's taking too long to do that... It was funny, but honestly most of them didn't apply to me.

Big Brother is watching you! :-

anyway, it's funny because I'm gluten free now, and I'm not a homeschooler anymore. \:D/

...and growing up, I wasn't allowed to see stuff like Little Mermaid (but I still saw Lion King. Weird, I know. My mom was overprotective and didn't want me to see 'boyfriend/girlfriend' stuff.) But I grew up with Star Wars, Indiana Jones and even R rated stuff, so we weren't as conservative as a lot of other homeschoolers I knew back then.

We watched Wishbone, I remember using Adventures in Odyssey/Down Gilead Lane as methods to tell time on car trips, and my parents actually paid attention to the ratings on movies and video games (collective gasp here). I know what the Silmarillion is, mostly because my dad and brother are massive Lord of the Rings nerds, and I did learn reading, writing, and basic math from my parents instead of preschool. But Harry Potter was never a tricky subject at my house, I never had to be told that witchcraft was bad (my parents actually thought I could figure things out for myself! What a wonder!), and I actually did read "Left Behind" and regretted it later. While I have read the entire Bible through jumping around in different books, I've never done the whole thing a second time, and I can quote the Princess Bride because it's a fairly decent movie. I've been told that I'm the type to be homeschooled, but quite frankly, I'm too used to public school to bother with going homeschooled.

Ah, this video brought back memories of driving my mom crazy with multiple replays of the song "Having Fun Isn't Hard When You've Got a Library Card" off of the Arthur website. :)

She left many of us behind. She left us heartbroken. And though we cry now there'll come a time when we'll laugh. Because we'll see her again someday. We'll be with her in heaven. And when we go to heaven she'll be there to greet us. She'll be there to say "Welcome home." -From a poem that SnC wrote about her grandmother
