Ordinary citizens performing their ordinary activities. Who would suspect that the small Town of Odyssey would soon be thrown into chaos and turmoil?
As the sun slowly slipped down into darkness, four figures spoke in whispers. They were careful to remain hidden in the shadows. They were selecting their first victim.
It is now Night One. Contact me if you have a role.

The unsuspecting victim walked slowly down the street, heading to his home.
Behind him, a dark figure sprang out from the shadows. bookworm was hit on the head with a sharp circular object. Before the assassin could finish him off, a low hiss came from around the corner.
"Get out of here! It's the Sheriff!"
The Mafia members scattered off into the darkness, leaving their prey unconscious.
Two hours later, bookworm awoke with a head that was furiously pounding. He reached up to his forehead to feel crusts of dried blood on his face. Quickly, he stood to attend to his pains. He had to find medical attention. He had survived the attack.
It is now Day One. Discuss.

(Look on the bright side, bookworm. Now we all know you're a townie. ) Aeva slipped on her comfy, athletic clothes and ambled outside to enjoy the morning air. "What a beautiful day," she sighed happily as she basked in the sunshine and gentle breeze. Relaxing on her porch steps, she took her smartphone from her pocket to browse the internet. A bold headline on her favorite news website caught her attention, and she curiously clicked on it. Her eyes widened in astonishment as she skimmed the article. " What?" she sputtered to herself. "An attack? Here?" She stood up, unsure about what to do, and wondered if any of the neighbors had heard the shocking news.

Joy pushed open the screen door, and slammed it behind her. The sun was warm and shining. She saw her good neighbor, Aeva, outside. She seemed shocked about something. "Aeva, what's the matter?" Joy peered at Aeva's phone! She gasped! "Who would do such a thing?" Her eyes filled with sympathy. "Poor bookworm! He must be devastated!"

Taps was walking his dog at night when he saw figures approaching on another. Being a coward, Taps ran to his house as fast as he could. The next morning he looked at the newspaper. He breathed a sigh of relief. The man (Bookworm) had survived.

Being the ultra-cynical person that I am, Taps could be mafia. He purposefully put himself at the crime not as a mafia, but as a bystander. This maybe an attempt to throw off suspicion by making others believe while he was there, he was not part of it. That's something I would do. I'm not accusing you, I'm just saying what first came to my mind...

I'm going to say in my defense, that I am just bad at role playing and wanted to do something unique. But it's just a game Whitty Whit, you don't have to apologize for posting your suspicions

Astronomer looked at the stars in the early morning, discerning what he could read. After seeing nothing but stars (as that is about all you can discern from stars, other than the seasons) he looked at the online newspaper with his computer and read about Bookworm's attack. "How horrible!" He went downstairs, then went to see if everyone else knew the news.

Yeah I know, I'm really bad at roleplaying too, so I would make the same mistake. But then again, why are you so willing to "forgive" me and not accuse me right back?

Because he knows that will get nowhere. And, if he did that, it would make him look even more suspicious.

Woody woke up that morning, poured himself a glass of OJ, and began browsing the morning newspaper. He was very surprised when he saw the large headline declaring "Citizen survives Mafia attack." Mafia? In Odyssey? he thought as he read the rest of the article. "Well, at least Bookworm survived. Losing him would be devastating. But we need to catch the Mafia fast."

This block of text should be fine for a signature. Wait, are you still reading this? Why are you reading this? Stop. Seriously. This sentence is true. The sentence above is false.
I dare you not to read this. Maybe if I talk like this. Wait, you still see me? *sighs* I give up.

Rad kept having nightmares where ToOers were being picked off one by one and they always started with bookworm. She awoke to find that the nightmare was playing out again in real life this time. "Could we assume that the medic and at lest one mafia member is an old timer?"

"Well, I don't think you would need to be an oldtimer to know that Bookworm is a pretty good player, and is often targeted first." JC said, taking the pck off of his back. "I personally think that the Mafia are some newer people, because an older player would most likely know that Bookworm usually gets saved right way. But this is all speculation at this point." He reached into his bag and pulled out a lawn chair, and a can of soda. "The game is afoot, and we must catch the culprits! Does anyone want a Coke?"

You really don't have to role play... Anyway now that we know Bookworm is on our side this gets good. Okay, this is completely speculation with nothing backing it except my logic. My possible mafia list after the above conversation is Astronomer, JCGJ, Aeva, Radgeek, Joy. That is due to a large group of factors which I will not explain. But since it is day one. That's the best we have.
