Battle for Dream Island (Pilot) signups

I recently discovered a great Youtube series called Battle for Dream Island. It’s a silly set of videos that follows the events of a contest between twenty objects as they try to win a private paradise.


















































As I was watching it, the complexity yet straightforwardness of the various stages of the contest reminded me of several games Monty has hosted here in the past, and made me consider adapting the series into a ToO event.

I think it would be really fun to try, if there are enough people interested in participating. We would need at least twenty people to start out with as the actual contestants, and ideally we would also have a good amount of others following along for the parts that require audience participation in the form of voting.
If you would be interested please let me know. :)

One note: If and when this does start, it will be quite a drawn out event. It’s very possible it will span several months from start to finish. Just keep that in mind.

I must say, my favorite episode would have to be number 8, simply because of the wonderfully epic music video at the end (starting about 8 minutes into the video)...

Oh yes, you don’t have to be familiar with the series to participate. I should have mentioned that. :)
It would probably be a little more fun though, since you’ll be able to follow it better.

Even if you're not participating, you should watch the series.

It's absolutely wonderful, and will waste away nearly 4 hours of your life... :mrgreen:

I must ask, what is your favorite moment/scene/episode in the series?

I absolutely LOVE the last 2 minutes of Episode 8 (I think...). :mrgreen:
