Is there such a thing as satellite Internet?
What are the providers besides Comcast and Verizon?
Do Bunnies have any problems?

Yes, satellite internet access does exist.

Available providers will depend on type of connection and where you live. For example, where I live, If I want broadband, cable is provided only by Comcast. DSL is through Qwest, and I can pick my own ISP.

So who provides satellite?
Is it comparable cost wise to DSL and cable?
How is it with performance?

You will have to research satellite providers. I don't know of any off the top of my head.

Pricewise, I hear satellite is pretty spendy. In my area, cable runs $42-$62 a month. DSL is from $27 a month and up.

From what I have heard, satellite is moderately speedy. DSL can have any sort of performane you want if you are willing to pay for it. Cable in my area is running around 4Mbps. Verizon is also testing a new service in Texas. 30Mbps, fiber line direct to your house, $50 a month.
