you lack mustache and glasses

(actually if I remember right, do you wear glasses, Top?)

I think it looks interesting; yet another new series set to come to out this fall

Yup. My brain has trouble accepting any other picture of Gordon.

I’m not much into Batman yet, but I think it looks cool. Not sure if I’ll actually watch it right now, but I like the idea.

I think it will be an interesting show. I don't always like the dark and gritty aspects of batman and Gotham, but I'll at least check out this first season.

Top, here's your explanation:

Oh man I'm on board as long as it ends like that.

Did anyone see that Batman: Year One direct to DVD movie a while back? It focused a lot on Gordon first coming to Gotham PD and was pretty great.

I liked it--wasn't as good as the comic, but I did enjoy it. Walter White was the voice of Gordon, after all.

Well, the comics are always better, but they did pretty good adaptions of Year One and Dark Knight Returns. I hadn't read it in so long that I didn't really remember. >_> But yeah anything with Cranston gets a 10 point bonus right off the bat.

I may be looking back at the comic with rose-colored glasses, though. (It's one of my favorite comics that I've ever read.)

I need to see The Dark Knight Returns.

Yeah definitely worth watching!

...so has anyone been watching Gotham? Or... as I like to call it... "Got Ham?"?

I got caught up over the weekend. It's pretty good. Weird mix of procedural cop show with DC comics junk thrown in, I"m enjoying it a lot so far. I am still missing the mustache and glasses. :(

I don't remember the name of the actor who plays Bullock, but I've seen him in random small parts and always was amused by him, so I'm glad he's a main character in what potentially is a big show.

It seems like a lot of other TV shows, and I won't be watching it, but it did start to look cool at the end where it clarified it was going to prequel a lot of Batman characters.

I haven’t been watching because as I said I haven’t gotten in to the Batman universe yet, but I have been waiting to see your thoughts Top because when I eventually do I will likely check it out then, if you thought it was any good.

I've heard almost universally good things. The only vaguely negative thing I've heard is "Arrow starts kind of slow, but more than makes up for it," which is hardly that bad and Agents of SHIELD was basically the same.

I definitely recommend Arrow, it's really good

Arrow, Agents of Shield, (only watched the first episode of the Flash, so can't confirm) and Gotham are all really good shows! I don't know which I like more. Gotham has lots of potential in storylines with all the villains, Agents of Shield is amazing (I still love Brett Dalton no matter what side his character is on!), and Arrow is good because I like the drama.

But I like Gotham. The actor of Gordon is good. I like his voice. Dat nose though....

Bahaha. That's what my brother was like! \:D/ I can't say I really like Jim Gordon.. And Harvey... eeeehhhh. He is even worse. I just find him annoying.

I didn't really read any of the above comments. I've only seen the first 5 episodes so far. My brother and I are watching it. So far, it is intriguing... but we hate the fish lady and are hoping the villains get a little more diverse and unique... so far they are kind of all the same. I do like the Penguin, I consider him to be one of the better actors. The cat woman girl is growing on me too. But...yeahh, some of the actor choices for characters are a bit meh.

But it's fun to watch with my brother, 'cause we can get into it and joke about it at the same time. \:D/ =p We keep waiting for little Bruce to say.. I'M BATMAN. xD
