When browsing as a guest on Firefox it's fast, but not when I login. Sometimes taking a minute to submit a post.

Ah, then perhaps is is not limited to Chrome. It does definitely seem contained to being actively logged in as a Council member though.

Hmm. It is contained mostly to Council members but I use Firefox and it isn't slow for me.

The Town of Odyssey has recently been updated to the latest version of PHP. Please let me know if you see anything weird happening!

Whaaaaaaaaaaaat, I thought that was gonna be an intensive project. Like with switching over all the mods and such?

EDIT: I thought you were talking about phpBB.. :anxious: But that still leaves me with a question. Are you planning on getting the phpBB updated sometime soon?

I think that he's talking about just the PHP version, which is different from phpBB. It does have the potential to cause problems, but it's probably fine. In fact, it could help with the speed issues a bit. But not hugely.

So no, we're not running extensions right now. And yes, updating to the newer version of phpBB would be way more involved and disruptive.

The ToO keeps giving me broken PHPBB errors. And has been loading slow. It's been doing this since yesterday (maybe even the day before that too).

I've made some tweaks. Does it seem to be working now?

Yep. Problems seem to be cleared up.

Does anyone else not receive PM notifications via email anymore? Because for the past several months I have not, even though I have it set to notify me. I even tried putting the setting off then on again, and that hasn't worked. :-k

Possibly just an issue with my mobile network, but for several days I've been getting sporadic "Connection closed by remote server" error pages.

I forgot, I couldn't get on here for about an hour or two about 6 hours ago.
^AIOluver^

Who am I? I'd rather not answer that question, the real question is, "Who are you?". Right now I am trying to think of something witty to put here.. I might not find anything, but that's fine. This block of text should be fine for a signature. Wait, are you still reading this? Why are you reading this? Stop. Seriously.
STOP.
This sentence is true.
The sentence above is false.

I dare you not to read this.
Hey! I said not to read this.
Maybe if I talk like this.
Wait, you still see me? *sighs* I give up.
