I'd be more upset if my team had been showing any signs of being able to bring any kind of convincing consistency up until now. As it is, fantasy wise, it's just par for the course in a season I've been simply unable to get anything going.

I am seriously bummed real life wise as a Packer fan though, this is really rough. Injuries have hit the team ridiculously hard this season already (not to mention the rest of the league!) but Rodgers found a way to get it done somehow through all of them.

This was locked in as a loss from the minute my very first position of the week recorded their score. You're not going to win your matchup when you get a -6 from someone. It's not going to happen. It's possible to come back from having a zero score (which I happened to also get this week to make it really official there was no way I could win) if you have some other player put up a huge score to cover for that. But when you have a negative the other guy needs the huge score just to overcome the negative and get back to zero which still leaves you in a hole. So there's just no way.

I will openly admit I certainly benefited by facing Laura while her two stars were both on bye, but I wouldn't give that the sole credit for this win. She had multiple people on her roster fall short this week, and that still would have happened. Meanwhile on the other side I put up another solid showing, despite losing a player to injury. I'll take the bye aid, of course, but I don't feel I needed it to make this week competitive, which is what I needed to feel after a lackluster start to the season, still looking for some rhythm with my lineup.

One thing that is about to really get irritating if it continues for another week is my kicker woes. I demand consistency over high scoring from my kicker. I don't care if they're hitting double digits every week, I want to see steady performance. So when my kicker dropped from scores of 19 and 9 to just 4 last week I cut him and signed one coming off scores of 11, 15, and 16. But as soon as I play him he only scores 2. So I cut him immediately and go this week with one coming off 8, 16, and 18. And as soon as I play him he only scores 2. This is beyond a dropoff, it's a night and day change as soon as they join my roster. It's ridiculous. Am I going to look back on this season as the year of the bookworm kicker curse? We'll see what happens next week with my new one coming off weeks of 10, 10, 18, and 13.

In a week when Laura and I had our four RBs combine for 4 points. The winner was decided by 3 yards.

It appears Almanzo is about to become the outright #1 team in our league at 8-4! After a slow start to the season (0-3), he has won 8 out of the last 9! Impressive. =D>

The playoff brackets are now an utter mess. There's a distinct possibility we could have a 6 way tie at 8 wins with another person at 7.

For Mr C, and AE one win and you're in.

WW, and IJ all you have to do is win the next two and you're guaranteed a spot.

For BC, SK, and TS it's going to be crazy next week if we all win and over if we all lose in week 14 and IJ beats AE. With lots of crazy scenarios in between.

I'm assuming I'm officially eliminated? I can theoretically get to six wins but it looks like the minimum to get in is already established at seven.

Congrats to Almanzo, AE, and Laura for clinching playoff spots. \:D/

Almanzo and AE are set at 9 wins. Laura has clinched by holding the head to head tie-breaker over IJ and TS.

Meaning there's one spot left up for grabs with 4 teams fighting for it.

IF TS or IJ wins BC and SK are eliminated.

IF only one of TS or IJ wins they get the final spot.

IF both win head to head is tied so it would come down to total points over the season. IJ goes into the week up 7
.
IF both IJ and TS lose and SK loses it will be a three way tie at 7-8 between IJ, BC, and TS. Since BC and IJ play each other 3 times and TS only twice head to head is ignored and we would move to total points. Current totals are BC 1250, IJ 1249, TS 1242.

IF IJ and TS lose and SK wins it will be a 4 way tie. Current point totals: SK 1257, BC 1250, IJ 1249, TS 1242.

If Total season points are somehow tied it goes to divisional record. All games in the final week are inter-divisional so do not matter. Meaning if it comes to this SK and IJ are 3-3 and BC and TS are 2-4.

If for some reason we need a tie-breaker after that it goes to total points against. SK has 1329, BC has 1284, TS has 1282 and IJ has 1159.

Thanks KF! How do you get all that great stuff every year? Is it broken down somewhere or do you check all the possibilities manually?

I get the tie-breaker rules from here: http://games.espn.com/ffl/resources/hel ... akers-work

All manually. This year was more fun than others with such a tight finish.
