Here's the place for discussing music, plays, YouTube videos, and any other media that doesn't quite fit in the other sections of Harlequin Theatre.

Oh, I don't know, maybe I'm asking what is the best Peter Jackson film that features a lawn mower as a weapon?

That is a distinct possibility.

Actually, before LOTR he was a renown Horror film director so there might be a movie of his that actually has a lawnmower in it

Yes, an authentic replica lawnmower from 1921. ;)

Is the new version of King Kong set in the old days? I thought it would be set in modern day.

I saw flying Model-T's in the add. \:D/

I believe that it is in the 1920's or 1930's from what I have seen of the adds.

It is set in the 1930's. I would say check out the production diaries on kongisking.net, but the relevant ones have been taken down for inclusion on the BTS DVD.

It's not, we're talking about the cult classic "Dead Alive".

Anyhoo, the original Kong was made in 1933 so seeing as this isn't set in modern times I'd assume that's when this is set.

I like the little bits I've seen so far... really looks like an honest remake keeping the story in tact, but switching CGI for stop motion and adding some more action.
