The Author JD Needs to Read
I'm currently reading 'Flee the Night' by Susan May Warren, and I have to say that the main character reminds me a LOT of Tasha. I'm really enjoying it so far. Has anyone else read this book?

Yep, Rachael, a few hours after you post the thread, and one off-topic post later, this thread is clearly totally dead! *tries to get a burial certificate* Naturally, no sarcasm is present in this post.
I've never read anything by the author in question, and therefore cannot help this thread resurrect.

It's really good. Picture Tasha with a six-year-old, and everyone thinks she's guilty of murder-- but she's innocent. Very cool.

The book does sound good - anything that seems like Tasha can't be bad! *races Elf to the library*Rachael wrote:It's really good. Picture Tasha with a six-year-old, and everyone thinks she's guilty of murder-- but she's innocent. Very cool.
I don't know if you meant me or not, but I did see the post right above mine as soon as I had posted.Rachael wrote:Oops! Read the post right above yours.

It's a little depressing at first, but I'm counting on the fact that it's going to get better.
Of course, it might not be depressing for everyone. I'm the kind of person who gets upset over stories of people who are falsely accused, etc., so it keeps making me angry. But now I've read enough of it that I think it's going to get better and turn out well.

I fail to understand how that would advertise the book. <_<Jennifer Doyle wrote:<snip>
*cough* Anyway...most of the reviewers on Amazon have rated it with 5 stars. Thankfully, I get to visit the library on Monday. They'd better have it.
sorrowing you must go, and yet you are not without hope

What does snip mean? *shrugs* Not advertise . . . maybe a false authority fallacy? I don't know. It used to say it WAS my favorite author. Rachael has since changed it.
So why do you think I should read this author Rachael?

The fact that you're so enthralled with the NSA, mainly. Also, the MC kind of reminds me of you. (scratch that, she reminds me a LOT of you.)
If JD the person wouldn't enjoy it, then JD the RPG characer would most definitely enjoy it.
