I have a question... for the most part, we play looking for the red apple that's most similar to the judge's understanding of the green apple, but sometimes we also play the red apple that is most opposite to the green apple. Are we playing both ways, or just the one?

Great question!
It's entirely up to you. The general idea is to pick, as you said, "the red apple that's most similar to the judge's understanding of the green apple." However, sometimes the judge may not always pick the red apple that he would normally associate with the green apple. Sometimes he may pick the most outrageous or the most humorous. Thus, players are free to select any of their red apples.

I love "real" game of Apples to Apples! It is alot of fun, for all ages, too. I wish I would have gotten here sooner so I could have played! Will their be a another round? I sure hope so!
Will you be posting all the apples that were handed in? That is, of course, all part of the fun!
