I have sent everyone their five red apples, so be sure to check your PM inboxes if you haven’t already! ;) Just for clarification, I decided to give everyone five red apples as opposed to seven due to the fact that we have twenty-five members participating. If you do the math, it equates to 125 red apples given out. That numbers jumps to 175 if each member was given seven red apples. I’d run out of red apples very quickly if I gave out that many red apples, so I’ve reduced the number to five. Don’t worry, though, everything else hasn’t changed. Be sure to re-read the rules on page one of this thread. If you have any further questions, please post them here. The name of the judge, in addition to the green apple, will be posted tomorrow morning. \:D/

Q: What are “red apples” and “green apples”?
A: A red apple is an adjective, while a green apple is a noun.
Then why do the red apples I received look suspiciously like nouns? :anxious:

Because red apples are nouns, not adjectives. :anxious:

Round 1

Judge: Aram Doyle
Green Apple: Scary

Everyone, excluding the judge, must send me their red apple within the next twelve hours. When you PM me, please make the subject title "Apples to Apples: Round 1". If you cannot or do not meet the deadline, you will be disqualified from this round. Red cards will be posted after all red cards have been received or after the 12 hour deadline runs up. Please do not PM me (or post here) to ask why the results haven’t been posted yet. As much as this may shock you (especially Frank), I do have a life and don’t spend all day on the ToO. ;) Thus, I may not always post the list red apples immediately after the 12 hour deadline passes.

Deadline: 9:00 pm ET

Round 1

Judge: Aram Doyle
Green Apple: Scary

Aram, you may now select any of the following red apples. Pick whichever one you think best matches (or doesn’t ;)) the green apple. You have until 8:00 pm ET this Wednesday to post (don’t PM) your favorite red apple. If you have not selected by the deadline, I will make the decision for you. ;) Everyone else, feel free to comment on any of the red apples that have been submitted. Don’t reveal the one you sent, however, lest the judge decide not to pick yours because of it. :anxious:
