Atari? NES? Anyone?
Does anyone like old games like Asteroids, Tetris, Pong, Pacman, Mario Bros. Original? I love them. I Love playing them online, and recently I got a free download from Windows Marketplace that has a lot of atari games and stuff, very awesome.

You mean I can publically announce that I have every video game ever made in Roms? When did this become legal?

I'm more of a fan of Genesis (and SNES) (S3K/Chaotix (yes, I own a 32x ;P)/Ecco/ToT ftw) which obviously comes from a generation later. But a lot of classics began on the NES and/or Atari and/or anything eight-bit really and hence it deserves significant respect.

Let us know if you find any roms for those systems, STRYPER.
Would the Wii put a fly in the ointment on that, though? As well as all the "classic collections" being put out by Sega, Capcom, Midway, and probably others?Dasher wrote:Episode 30 of TWiM (This Week in Media). I believe it was mentioned on TWiT as well. Essentially, the DMCA (I think?) has been changed to allow people to download ROMs if the platform to play them on is no longer readily available in the commercial marketplace, or something like that.
