Ah yes...time flies...
I think holding him was what traumatized me.
Actually, it's because when I held him for the first time, his head tipped back over my arm for a moment, but I pulled him back up. Then my Dad took him away from me and said I could never hold him again...I ran away to cry in my room
Didn't we have some fun, though? Remember when the platform was sliding into the fire pit and I said, 'goodbye.' And you were like, 'no, wait.' And then I was all, 'we pretended we were going to murder you.' That was great...
I believe I've only held a baby once or twice in my lifetime. And that because my sister wanted me to see what it was like to hold a baby. I felt like I was standing on banana peelings on the edge of a cliff holding a bag of eggs.
JIA (9/13/2008 10:54:27 AM): That long?!
JIA (9/13/2008 10:54:31 AM): IT WAS EONS AGO!
JIA (9/13/2008 10:54:33 AM): *falls over*
WINDSHEAR (9/13/2008 10:54:46 AM): I've already fallen over and died
WINDSHEAR (9/13/2008 10:54:47 AM): I beat you.

Yeah, that pretty much explains how I feel at first, but then I got used to it

Last month. The older sister of one of my best friends just had a baby about two months ago. My friend was babysitting so I got to hold the little guy...

I wasn't yelling. I was talking with vehemence.
I can't remember the last time I held a baby. I certainly held my now 8-year-old sister when she was a baby, but no other more recent baby holdings are coming to mind. I wanted to hold a baby at a November wedding I attended, but was too afraid to ask since I didn't know the couple that well, even if they were somehow related to me.
Yay! I get to add here! I got to hold a 3-week old little girl on Wednesday! We're visiting my parents' house, and their neighbors' daughter just had a baby. She was soooo tiny! Only 5lb. 14oz. at birth, so now she's probably still only 8 or 9 pounds.
Other than that, an 18-month old today (daughter of my cousin) and a 3 year old every day!!

Okay...that's weird...I don't think hamsters eats babies, however, one baby tried to eat my hamster

Depends what age you mean...my youngest sibling is eighteen months, and I hold her almost every day! Other than that, though, it was probably two or three months ago, when a family with a little baby visited. She actually fell asleep in my arms for a while!
This topic is too same for hillingdale. It's getting moved to finnamins.
Hmm I honestly don't remember the last time I held a baby - even though I just went to a baby dedication and two parties for a friends older brother ...
A woman's heart should be so hidden in Christ that a man would have to seek Him to find her.

I hold my neice just about every day. Shes just a year and can't walk yet so mommy and daddy get tired of holding her all the time so she gets passed around quite a bit.
I never make mistakes. I thought I did once, but I was wrong.
The last time... was about a week before Christmas, I was the adult running a five-kid childcare night for the church staff Christmas party.
