Welcome to the AIO Podcast Room!

Postby Catspaw » Sat Nov 22, 2008 4:45 pm

Everyone,

After some discussion between the moderators and the admins, and many good suggestions and useful input, the final decision was reached to create a special subforum in Whit's End so that there can be a place for all the podcast threads so that Whit's End will be less cluttered. It seems like every time I turn around, there's another fantastic podcast available to listen to! :D

The existing threads, which have been moved from Whit's End to our new subforum, will continue to be a place where links can be placed, as well as for discussion. Anybody with a new AIO-related podcast can start a thread, but everything within this subforum should be related specifically to AIO-related podcasts, not any other topics. :)

Enjoy, everybody! :D If you have any comments, questions, or suggestions, feel free to post them here!

That is a great idea, Miss Catspaw!

Now hopefully we won't clutter the ToO with all the podcast buzz! I do greatly enjoy the podcasts, folks. Please keep them up!

Someone finally took the bait on my idea. It is a great way to organize things.

I think this is a great idea.

However, Ethan told me he thinks it is a really dumb idea. He said that he doesn't mind if all the other podcasts are put off in a corner by themselves, but he doesn't think The Ceiling Fan should be. He was actually wondering why his podcast doesn't have a really big link on the home page, since he is the biggest odyssey fan and everything. Anyway, I told him I didn't think that was going to happen. But I thought I would pass that along. That's just what he said.

I too thought the stickies were too numerous, so thank you for addressing the issue. Sadly, I'll likely check the threads less often due to the out-of-sightedness... however, I have the podcasts I need bookmarked. :)

Thanks for passing along Ethan's message - I've actually been working on that idea for some time, but sadly, it's taken some time to try to come up with a way to show the link that is prominent enough to truly display just how amazing Ethan is. :( I'm not smart enough to find a way to let everybody know that Ethan is super cool and the biggest Odyssey fan. :sniff:

Interesting idea. I've got a question - is this podcast forum open for all sorts of podcasts, or just AIO ones?
I've been thinking of doing a music podcast for a while, and if it's quite alright I could end up posting it here.
