Exercise Log

Post by Taq »

Tell us:
  • What exercise you did
  • How long you exercised for (rounded to the nearest 5 minutes)
To receive credit for your exercises, you must post them during that week. (So when we get to July 31, you can't post a July 1 report and receive money for that. ;)) Reports are due at the end of each week on Saturdays (with the exception of the last week since July ends on a Friday):
  • July 1-4 (Reports accepted through Sat, July 4 @ 11:59 PM EDT)
  • July 5-11 (Reports accepted through Sat, July 11 @ 11:59 PM EDT)
  • July 12-18 (Reports accepted through Sat, July 18 @ 11:59 PM EDT)
  • July 19-25 (Reports accepted through Sat, July 25 @ 11:59 PM EDT)
  • July 26-31 (Reports accepted through Fri, July 31 @ 11:59 PM EDT)
This thread opens on July 1! \:D/

You may post every day or save up for a weekly report. Either works. I will be tallying the minutes at the end of each week. So if you decide to post daily and want to help me out, give me a final minute count at the end of the week. :)

July 1: 33 minutes of DDR/stretching.
July 2: 32 minutes of DDR/stretching.
July 3: 35 minutes of DDR/stretching.
so far, I've got 100 minutes logged. ^_^
I'm aiming for 1000 minutes overall, which is like 16 and 2/3 hours.

Next week I'll probably incorporate some more constitution/endurance work, getting pushups and situps involved.

And, brilliant brilliant idea, Taq/LizzieG. Ye are awesome.

July 1: 35 minutes of walking/stretching
July 2: 40 minutes of walking/stretching
July 3: 30 minutes of walking/stretching & 15 minutes of running

I will post what I accomplished on the 4th tomorrow. So far, I have surpassed my goals for this week. I was aiming for walking 2 miles a day, but I have accomplished near 3 miles a day. As far as jump roping and stretching, I have hit about right where my goal was.

Frisbee golf most certainly counts. :) I once played it at a camp and had lots of fun, but I don't know of any courses around here. :boohoo:

July 1-2: Rode a stationary bike for 60 Minutes (Give or take a few)
Did stretches, and 20 squats, and picked strawberries (Does that count?)
July 3: The same thing as above, except I went for a 60 minute brisk walk to Walmart. :D Go Walmart!

I'm going to say no for picking strawberries, although it sounds like a fun and worthwhile activity. :) Also, could you clarify how many minutes total you did? I'm counting 240 (60 minute bike x3 + 60 minute walk), but how long did the stretches and squats take? :-k

3 his 35 min of walking since July 1. :) I'll try to update later today with this afternoon's walking.

I think the first week ends today... :anxious:

Progress report: I did a whole 40/200 pushups and one shot that was almost a Super Mario Chalmers shot, but it was barely behind the freethrow line.. :-
All in all I prolly spent a whole 10-15 minutes exercising (although I didn't time it). :anxious: I'm better with my feet than my arms.. ](*,)

July 1-4

40 minutes cycling
2.5 hours weight training/calesthentics

As soon as I finish resurfacing my deck, I'll have more time for real exercise. ;)
