which denomination?

At the Second Church of Odyssey you'll find different ways of expressing your beliefs, finding prayer support or being encouraged through regular devotionals.

I attend a Reformed Baptist church.

I know this is kinda an older-ish topic but I didn't see my denomination listed and so, of course, I felt I must represent. :) Didn't want all the Reformed Baptists to go on unrepresented... ;)

I got to a baptist church, but I'm non-denominational. I think all denominations have their flaws, so I follow God's Word. :)

I grew up baptist, spent many years at an Evangelical Free Church, but am now a member of the Church of Sweden which is technically Lutheran. Disclaimer: I do NOT agree with their politics and try to stay true to the word of God in my prayer and studying. My husband is Swedish and is loyal on a cultural level, I am praying for his enlightenment, until then I practice I Peter 3:1. Pray for us. In the meantime, I try to remember that communion cannot be sullied by human hands for it is the body and blood of christ.

I'm simply a follower of Christ. My Dad is a preacher in the Church of Christ, so I currently attend CofC, but will probably attend a Baptist church once I'm on my own.

I am a girl with no set denomination but very particular beliefs, many of which make other Christians uncomfortable. :-

The Spiritual Freedom Church? I skimmed around, and it doesn't seem so bad.

My family believe a lot in the healing, prosperity; things like that. A lot of people don't like admitting that God probably isn't saying no when He's promised something in the sciptures; that it's their problem something isn't happening. Y'know, Kenneth Hagin, Jesse Duplantis, guys from Word of Faith. (which, if you noticed the one topic in CCDS, are considered "heretical". ) I actually got into minor trouble on another forum in a debate about healing once. \:D/

I'm not familiar with those names, but I totally get what you're saying. We must discuss theology sometime, Leela.

I am a folower of Christ who just happens to go to a Baptists Church. Since denominations are man made I don't believe that I should even claim to be non-denomiantional.

I'd rather live as if there were a God, and found out there isn't, then to live as if there weren't a God, and find out there is.

To respond to MnT's unanswered question, Nazarene is a holiness denomination and very similar to the Missionary Alliance church. In Canada The Church of the Nazarene and the Missionary Alliance share a University.

Considering I'm Jewish, yet go to a non-denominational Church, we could have an interesting conversation!
