Whit's voice sounded even farther away in the newest episode IMHO...

I wasn't yelling. I was talking with vehemence.
I like the new Whit! Makes AIO kind of fresh to me. This is the first episode that I've heard in a loooooooooong time.
Is Jack Allen still played by Scrooge MckDuck? Love Mr. Young.

I concur. He sounds more and more like Bernard crossed with Jack...

Yep, Alan Young still plays Jack Allen. I keep hoping Jack will start speaking with a Scottish accent, but to no avail...
And about new Whit...I think he sounded fine in this episode. I really liked this episode. Especially the conversations between Anna and the Old Judge. And Quark was in this episode! (and the previous one, but I didn't hear him)
One notably absent scene in the radio version of Part II was Kyle's conversation with the young boys about Darien's encounter with Soren. After listening to the radio, I went ahead and listened to the album cut, which includes the scene - albeit with a minor change. I was somewhat surprised that they'd leave it out for the radio cut. It's probably one of the most prominent references to the Biblical story. Maybe they didn't want new listeners to catch on too quickly?
Check out our interview with Paul McCusker, author and director of Darien's Rise!
I love the Darien's rise episode 1 and 2!!! I think Whit sounds better in the second episode than in the first one. I have a Question for someone that has read the books, "is the old Judge, Fletcher?"

I think the Old Judge is supposed to be Samuel's Marus counterpart. Fletcher was Gideon's Marus counterpart.
I concur. Although I don't like the whole "mysterious" stuff. Perhaps this is why I was reluctant to listen to Passages to start.

Sorry, I didn't want to spoil it for anyone, I just didn't know I shouldn't ask a question like that. I just was trying to come up with something to discuss sense this is a discussion thread about darien's rise.

Since when did they start uploading hidden MP3s of each new episode?!
Jeremy
EDIT: *finds the answer to his own question* Wow! I didn't realize that. Doesn't FOTF realize that people can very easily download a copy of every episode this way?

We had better not say anything otherwise they won't put it up early.
