The name is really the only thing we have left to figure out. The rules and policies are over 75% done and everythings almost ready for a re-launch.

Just a little more patience ;)

I seriously doubt I'll be joining the new one. My stress level has gone way down without it.

Really? Why do you feel stressed about it? Then again I don't post that often and I just looked around.

Even in good debates I had issues with what people said or how they said it.

Then there's the bad ones. A more recent one that comes to mind is where three people (who will remain unnamed) took one little phrase from one of my post and tore it apart. Accused me of spamming. Etc. And if I'm not being attacked in the more heated threads, other people are, and it leaves a bad tast in my mouth.

Now hopefully this won't be an issue on the new one that's coming. But I don't want to deal with it anymore. Plus it's rather time consuming, and free time is fairly limited these days.

Two things stressed me.

1. What I say being ripped apart, taken out of context, and almost deliberately misunderstood.

2. The stress of replying in time, before facing a barrage of posts assuming something... and also the debate moving on without me, leaving me looking stupid. And also having a pile of stuff to reply to, if I delay too long. If I reply right away, though, I might not have all my stuff together, and not efficiently present my thoughts on the issue.

I do not expect either of those problems to be solved by the rehauling of the Town Hall, nor by it being renamed, which I think is rather silly.

Yay, rename it...
I'll join, because I can't stay away from debate. :p But I never posted much... I just read and got bored with other people's LONG posts. Ugh, long posts drive me nuts.

Unfortunately, the moderator force isn't gonna stop a whole people from posting about something I say, not giving me time to reply. Sorry, I just didn't see that happening. :-s

And I don't think the mods can solve that.

The Town Hall was my destresser! I'm feeling uncomfortable and bored without it. :?

Well, the rules are done! :)

I proposed on the mod board that they just make a new board and have the rules posted, etc... and let people suggest names and we'll all vote on one... rather than have indepth discussion of a name on the mod board, which I personally find to be rather pointless and non-interactive to the rest of the community. \:D/

But yay, hopefully a debate board will be back soon! \:D/
