For me, it's yet another show I hope will come to DVD someday.

My friend and I used to get up early (8 o'clock) on Saturday mornings to watch that show... \:D/

Though, by the time we watched the episodes, they were probably a couple of years old.

Yes! Another show my sister and I loved to watch! Oddly enough, I was just thinking of a scene from this show not too long ago!

I have a VHS tape or two from when our local Christian station had a marathon many years ago! \:D/

That, I think, was my totally favorite show in those days! \:D/

And sadly, they've no plans for real DVD releases... all they do is offer video tapes with a whopping TWO episodes on them for $20 a piece. :( It's a great show, but no way can I pay that much. I wish they'd release them all in seasons... :(

I remember in the REALLY early days they had like a studio audiance of kids and basically just threw pies in the face of "El Diablo" the whole time, and the show continuously matured, which I thought was cool... the puppet segments got fewer and fewer, and the gigantic talking dogs disappeared...

The Puppets and everything are still a part of what the church does for it's children's stuff. They included it in the show because it was common with the kids of their immediate audience. Once their fan base opened up, they slowly dropped it.

I saw somewhere that someone contacted Billy George Ministries about releasing DVD's and they said "they'd think about it."

I hope so, even if its just the later shows...

I don't want to start another topic about it... but anyone remember Captain Hook and Joy Junction? They were on with Gospel Bill when I was a kid... :anxious:

Yeah I found that first link the night I started this thread. It has a lot of great pictures that aren't anywhere else on the web.

True... but also the person who made that page is really down on all Christian child programing and uses much profainity.
