Everyone,

As many of you may have noticed, bots have been infesting this board for months but have recently come on very strong. To combat this, I've made a few changes. Firstly, websites will no longer be enabled in your profile or census list. Websites can still be accessed in your posts, via the the "WWW" link at the bottom of your post, but until we can solve this problem (or upgrade the board), there's no other alternative.

Secondly, new visitors now require admin approval before they can post. Some bots can still get their way around this, but most will be stopped. As usual, please contact anyone on the administration team or the global moderators if you come across a post that must be deleted immediately.

It's a program that automatically registers and usaully they add rather bad sites.. :sick:

Thanks Shadowpaw for adressing this, I've been noticing it a lot lately..

You should also put the thing where you have to read jumbled-up letters so bots can't read them
