Please pray for my family. My dad is a pastor who works full-time, but gets paid for only a quarter-time. At the same time, he picked up a job at a Christian private school as a Bible Teacher. Even with the combined paychecks, he doesn't make a whole lot.
So, my mom is currently looking for employment. Please pray for her. She is very well qualified, and wants to work in sales, but it's hard for her to be able to schedule appointments with the good jobs [that don't just involve being payed via commissions, which is not a steady income].

I just wanted to update this topic.
It's been almost a year now, and God has changed our lives!
My dad found a teacher to fill my dad's substitute position, so
he no longer does that, but oh, what blessings God has given!
My mom found a job shortly after May '07, but she quit because
they were basically lying to their customers.
Then, she found another job, but they did not allow desks, and her
feet hurt everyday (even though she loves their company and she
learned a LOT there).
Yet, a week after she quit her aforementioned job, and after fasting
and praying, God blessed her with a job that is ethical and prosperous.
It is not through our power, but God's.
We ought to remember the world is in His hands.
He continually blesses my mom with sales [which means commissions],
and my mom knows this.
People ask her, "What's your secret?" and she doesn't know
because God does all the work. He impresses on her which
businessess to pitch the sales to, and God works everything out.
Through God, we've risen out of debt (HALLELUJUAH!) and what
we have sustains us.
God's love is always everbounding, and I love Him for being with
us in the good times, and even more importantly, the bad times.
As the famous song goes:
"He's more wonderful than my heart can believe,
He's more wonderful than my heart can conceive.
He goes beyond my highest hopes and fondest dreams!
He's everything that my soul ever longed for.
He's everything He promised and so much more.
He's more than wonderful, more than marvelous, more
than miraculous than ever could be.
He's more than wonderful. That's what Jesus is to me!"
God is AWESOME!
