The s² moderating team!
with new... shiny... moderators.
The s² moderating team!
After much deliberation, we have settled on our moderating team!
This moderating team features six new moderators and four repeat moderators, bringing the total of moderators to 10.
The method of assigning moderators is a bit new, assigning more of the newer moderators to specific forums, and the older moderators to a larger number of forums... and the most experienced moderators to global positions.
We have three global moderators:
Aram Doyle
Darcie
Sherlock Holmes
We have five multi-forum moderators:
Samwise (McCalister Park, which is Finneman's, Whit's End, and Harlequin Theatre)
EK (Old Gower Road, which is Hillingdale Haven, Gower's Field, and Odyssey 105)
Laura Ingalls (City Hall [Steps of City Hall and Newspapers] and McCalister Park, which is Finneman's, Whit's End, and Harlequin Theatre)
UltimaZero (Old Gower Road, which is Hillingdale Haven, Gower's Field, and Odyssey 105)
Zeba (McCalister Park, which is Finneman's, Whit's End, and Harlequin Theatre and Old Gower Road, which is Hillingdale Haven, Gower's Field, and Odyssey 105)
We have two sub-forum specific moderators:
Laurie (Hillingdale Haven and Whit's End)
Agent Robert Mitchell (Crestwood)
We look forward to the moderating term!
Other News!
There will be a ToOzah chat tentatively scheduled... for ... 7:30 EST/6:30 CST/5:30 MT/4:30 PST, tomorrow, Saturday, the 9th of June.
Have a good day, all!

Congratulations all! You guys will do great, I'm sure.
One question: You had said the more experienced were the global mods, has Sherlock Holmes been a mod before (I know that she hasn't under her current name on this board)?

"Sherlock" was an administrator at the predecessor to this forum. More importantly, though, the communist ideals she has espoused in recent weeks should ease any fears you might have. It was undoubtedly her strong third-party candidacy that propelled her into this position.Queen Prunaprismia wrote:One question: You had said the more experienced were the global mods, has Sherlock Holmes been a mod before (I know that she hasn't under her current name on this board)?
Anyway, Sherlock is an excellent choice -- although, for all you know, she edited this post to reflect that sentiment!

Sherlock hasn't received her global moderator powers yet.Joseph Schumpeter wrote:"Sherlock" was an administrator at the predecessor to this forum. Interestingly enough, such allegations have been previously raised.Sarai Binghamton wrote:Sherlock hasn't received her global moderator powers yet.Joseph Schumpeter wrote:"Sherlock" was an administrator at the predecessor to this forum. (but you might be Sherlock, who knows? )
(And, if I recall correctly, they were neither conclusively proven nor disproven).
