Does anyone else one what this movie is? I'm really looking forward to it, it has some really good principles in it, especially marriage. For more information on it, read the Wikipedia article, Here. BTW, I wrote that article, so you can trust it. I'm a bit new here, so I'm not even sure where this message will end up! (kidding) God Bless, American Eagle

Well, according to this, it's not coming out in theaters there. Perhaps you could drive on down to the U.S.? Maybe, stay the Winter? LOL It should at least come out on DVD/Blu-Ray is Canada, if not in any theaters. If all else fails, wait a few years, it'll be on YouTube. No kidding. I'm trying out an avatar on the left, I'll have to wait to view it... hmm...

It's releasing tomorrow! I cannot wait to see how it does. Look at the right side of Box Officle Mojo, it's the second movie!

I'm don't really.. get it. I've heard all the hype for it, but I don't know... it doesn't sound as though many will be very interested. No offense. I've not seen a previews for it (I've seen previews for Body of Lies all ready... hehe...)
But, well, I don't know... if I were to go to the movies, it'd be to see that movie sissy wants to see... or um.. another movie.. can't remember names at the moment!

If you're talking about that little box on the right that says Release Schedule, it doesn't appear to be in any logical order, so I don't think that really means anythingAmerican Eagle wrote:It's releasing tomorrow! I'm really looking forward to seeing it. I really had no intention of seeing it because I had no idea what it was about. My Mom listens to the Focus on the Family broadcast everyday and this one morning I was listening and it sounded pretty good. So after I listened to that broadcast I went online to see if I could find the trailer. My Mom is going to take me to see it on Sunday afternoon now.
But now here is my question: WHEN IS KIRK CAMERON GOING TO GO BACK TO LEFT BEHIND!

Okay, so Facing the Giants was pretty decent for a Christian movie (and people who know me know that I don't usually have many compliments for Christian cinema ), and I'd heard "FIREPROOF is by the same people and coming out!!!" so I thought, oh, okay, maybe that'll be cool, too.
Well, I saw some preview clips on Wretched last night, and wow... totally took away any desire I had to see it. It just seemed silly. And I know other than Cameron they aren't using professional actors, just like Facing the Giants, but... I don't know, I haven't seen FTG for a while but I was very underwelmed by the acting other than Cameron who does at least acceptable made-for-TV work.

Fireproof made $6,500,000 million this weekend, beating out many movies that played on more than double the screens it did! God is good, everyone should go and see it.

It did perform well, but I can't help but think that its mostly just Christians going to see it... I go to a handful of movie forums and everyone is confused as to what it is or where it comes from... so the secular crowd isn't very interested. I've heard it has a strong salvation message, so hopefully that is true and its a good movie and unsaved people will go and see it and Christians will go and be blessed by the experience!American Eagle wrote:Fireproof made $6,500,000 million this weekend, beating out many movies that played on more than double the screens it did! However I personally don't see how a film about the kid from Growing Pains looking at porn on the internet and interacting with poor actors can be all that interesting--but who knows!
I will be glad if it makes insanely more than Bill Maher's new film.
