This is one of my personal fav's too. Bart's great here, but I like him better in "15 Minutes".

Not-So-Trivial Pursuits is the episode where Dwaine appears on the TV show "Kid Facts" against Brian Brainard (a.k.a. Brian the Brain). He has the opportunity to cheat, and gives in, but during the show he confesses that he got the answers to the questions prior to the show, and then decided that he wouldn't cheat.

It's also the episode in which Mandy tells Liz that she sucks her thumb, and Jared is in the closet and hears everything. Liz also tells Mandy (and later all of the kids at Whit's End) that Jared sleeps with a large pink teddy bear named Mr. Bobo.

Hope you remember now. I thought the episode was funny, and I like it.

I kinda remembered the first paragraph, but I do remember the second! Is the episode in Virtual Realities? I have that on tape, and I don't listen to it very much!

I didn't really like this episode. It seemed pretty so-so. Average. Typical. Bland.

Okay, I'll stop acting like Harlow Doyle now.

Bland. Stale. Lifeless. You detective types are so very....descriptive. ;)

This ep seems kind of average. It's okay, but nothing really stands out to make it special.

I agree. However, it was better than the episodes that were to follow it . . .

5/5 teddy bears.
Once again, Jared is up to his antics of spying and developing conspiracies. Dwayne shows his brainier side in a contest hosted by a character as shady as Bart. He is so much like Bart that Bart hangs out with him and even conspires the exact same plot to make money! The new and one-timer Brian Brainerd shows that he has some morals (on the lint in his pocket) like Dwayne when he confesses. Sarah was not here to play Jared's antagonist, so Liz fulfills that role nicely. Cute little Mandy plays the poor innocent who is victimized by Liz's ruthless tactics. Jared, completely out of character, was not the guilty one here! He has spilled no secrets, but some secrets about him have been spilled: Mr. Bobo the Teddy Bear, and Tony the Turtle.
