Welcome to...

Riddletopia!

I will post a riddle. You, the riddle-answerers, will post here if you know the answer. You can post as many times (but no double posting :shame:).

However, if no one can figure out the answer, I will post a clue.

The winning prize for figuring out the riddle is $10, but a dollar is taken off for every guess and/or clue.

Also, I would prefer if you used your awesome minds instead of googling (or yahooing, binging, etc. ;) ) for the answer. Cause we all know that we're smart. :x

When you answer the riddle, you must wait for the next day before answering the next riddle.

Post away! \:D/

FIRST RIDDLE:
A family lived in a round house. There was a father, chef, grandma, grandpa, and three kids. They heard the children scream. The father and chef said they were in the kitchen using sharp knives, the grandpa said he was reading the newswpaper, and the grandma said she was in the corner knitting. Who killed the children?

Fun contest. I like riddles. :)
I think that would have to be the grandma because a round house wouldn't have corners.

Awesome, bookworm! \:D/
You didn't look that up, did you? :x

Now you must wait 10 hours (just added that in ;) ) before you can answer the next one.

NEW RIDDLE:
What is the beginning of the end, the end of time, the middle of yesterday, and nowhere in tomorrow?

No I did not look it up! How dare you accuse such a thing?! I happen to be good at riddles!

Are you serious about the 10 hours?
That's not fair, I know this one! :(

Aww it's okay bookworm, I believe you. \:D/

And the 10 hours is because you'd probably know every riddle. ;)

Not to brag, but you're probably right.
I know you want to make it fair. ;)
How about you just say people can only answer (correctly) once a day, so I don't have to count hours?
