The Town of Odyssey

I read the book Eragon, and so I'm really excited about the movie. I hope it's as good as the book, because a lot of movies aren't, such as *coughellaenchantedcough.*

Eragon is a great book. So is Eldest, the second book..

I've read Eldest... Very good book. I really can't wait for the movie!

Hmm. I have never heard of Eragon. What is it about?

I keep on meaning to read the book, but I have yet to get it out of the library.

I haven't read either one yet. My problem is that I have so many other books to read.

The book was pretty good...I still haven't read Eldest yet, though. And as for the movie cast, I wish they'd cast someone else as Arya. The current actress just doesn't seem like Arya to me. But then again, that's what I thought of the actor for some LoTR characters until I actually saw the movie...

really? The actress looks exactly how I pictured her!

She does look similar to how I pictured Arya. I don't know what her acting/personality is like though..

Roughly, it's about a guy who finds a dragon and fights battles with it. Roughly. Very roughly.

ok. i got the emphasis on "roughly". i may have to read it sometime. or see the movie.

I read Eragon and did quite like it, although it hasn't even broken into my top ten. But maybe Eldest will change that, if/when I read it. I'll have to check out the movie when it comes into theaters!

The storyline sounds familiar, but I haven't read the book or seen any adds. (Probably because they are still making it.)

And I like the name Eragon.

It amazes me how well-written the books are, because the guy who wrote them (Christopher Paolini) was only 15 when he started Eragon, and now he's 22!!!

eragon was an awsome book! i so hope that the movie is as good or better. i have still not got my hands on a copy of eldest though cuz' i live in japan.

I am really looking forward to it. Although, if you saw the featurette, what do you think of the Urgals? They don't seem to fit the part. Urgals are supposed to be like creatures with rams horns and stuff. I don't know. What are your thoughts?
