Re: Colorado Wild Fire

Aaaand I really don't understand why we can't put this out. If Iran launched a nuclear weapon at us, we could track it and blow it out of the sky. When massive fires are spreading across our land, though, the best we can do is firefighters with garden hoses? Why can't we drop massive amounts of ash...

Re: Colorado Wild Fire

<t>I've been watching the news literally all day. I just thought I'd write up an explanation for some of this.<br/> <br/> First off, the wind is making it very difficult to stop the fires; making it too dangerous to stop them from the ground, and too dangerous for helicopters to fly over. The wind i...

Re: Colorado Wild Fire

Well, they did one about an earthquake, and that was scary enough for me at the time. The actors did really well portraying fear, especially Connie.

Re: Colorado Wild Fire

<t>A few close friends of mine have evacuated, and my relatives are near by as well.<br/> Definitely keep praying for these people. <br/> <br/> There was just a press conference, they said that the direction the fires are going in strange directions because of the wind, also they have not released a...

<t>Yes, those performances were quite incredible! There is a similar group this year, though I forget their name.<br/> <br/> It was really cool seeing the dance group from West Springfield, I don't see how they didn't make it farther.<br/> <br/> And then I feel bad for the Dr. guy who made the chops...

Re: America's Got Talent

Haha, true. You do something bazaar and ridiculous then Howie votes for you. You bring on an animal and Sharon votes for you. :p I seriously wonder about some of the acts that get through. They get all hopeful, but then the judges have to know that they can't continue much further, especially not to...

Re: America's Got Talent

I have a Jackie Evancho Christmas CD! \:D/ I have been watching AGT for a while now. I love the show. It's funny that they say they've never seen an act before when there are hundreds of dancers and singers that audition. And I'm pretty sure they say "This is the best act I've seen all year&quo...

Re: What is the last movie you saw?

The Hunger Games! \:D/

I posted a status about seeing it, and my friends thought I had gone insane. But I thought it was a really well-done movie. I read the book first, so the movie seemed way short in comparison, but everything came together nicely.

Thank you, Kait, for bringing this thread back up. If I were more active, I assure you this thread wouldn't be so deep in the pile. :noway:

But now that it's back, I'm thinking I can make long posts since there's no jail to keep me in!!! Huzzah!! \:D/
