Re: One Grand Party

Yes, looks like fun! :D Are you planning to go, Jonathan? I don't plan to attend - it's a bit of a trek from way up here in Canada and I wasn't quite interested enough to make all the details work out. I had such a wonderful time at the two other live shows I've been lucky enough to attend over the ...

Re: What books are you reading?

I'm trying to avoid adding new authors to me reading list, since I have so many books already waiting for me, but your big recommendation makes me tempted to add to my list Laurie. :D I'm about to start "Engaging Deception" by Regina Jennings. I really loved the second book in the Joplin C...

Re: Odyssey Character Quotes

I love Fred Holstein, and actually used a variation of one of his lines on an unsuspecting person just today! I can't remember it exactly, so I picked a different one I could find to share, but the one I used was something about bringing a tear to his cheek. Fred Holstein: I can only suspect that th...

Re: What books are you reading?

I've never been a big Amish fiction fan, but it does seem very popular!

I'm moving on to "Letter Perfect" by Cathy Marie Hake - another one of her good books that I haven't read for years and wanted to enjoy again.

Re: What books are you reading?

I recently read "Forevermore" by Cathy Marie Hake. I was fondly recalling how much I like some of her books and decided to re-read some of her books.

I'm reading "Proposing Mischief" by Regina Jennings. It's good so far. A bit of a unique main character, which I'm liking so far.

Re: What books are you reading?

I recently started a new devotional book - "Dwell: 90 Days at Home with God" by Sandra Byrd. I have enjoyed some of her fiction books, so when I saw this title I thought I'd give it a try. So far, so good!

I kid you not, I saw a Tom Swift book on a library shelf today. I didn't read it to find out more info about his sister, however. :(

Re: Reasonable Advice Questions for Top!

My nieces love Daniel Tiger. I think an obvious choice for ruler is Prince Wednesday - he's already a prince! Why not? ;) Or Tigey (did I spell that right?) because that would be the most fun.

They have been happily married for 12 years.
Thank goodness I finally got an update on this obscure couple. I don't stay on top of the celebrity news, especially people who don't make big headlines.

Good to hear that you liked it! There can be a difference between good reviews and a movie that's fun to watch.

I wasn't necessarily expecting it, but it would've been cool if they had shoehorned Short Round into the movie since Ke Huy Quan is having a resurgence in popularity.
That would have been fun!

I want to watch it again now that it's on Disney+ so hopefully I'll find time over Christmas!

Re: Hello, I am newbie here

Hey Gary, welcome here. :D I don't think there have been recent discussions along those lines on the ToO. Maybe I misunderstood you or they were old threads that I forgot about. Different people use one AIO site or multiple AIO sites because no two are exactly alike and people can do whatever works ...
