Bushcraft

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

Now, I know a lot of you enjoy camping, but does anyone out there enjoy Bushcrafting?

If you don't know what Bushcraft is; essentially, it is "surviving in the wilderness with limited modern technology."

To me, it's, "Camping with whatever fits in your pockets."

I was never a boyscout, so I've had to figure a lot out on my own.

I've perfected many of the skills (firebuilding, trapping, building shelter, recognizing edible plants, etc.), but I have yet to actually camp out over night without a tent or something...

I hope to be able to do it soon, though.

Anyway, my question to you is:

Is anyone here an experienced Bushcrafter?

Or is anyone at all interested in the art of Bushcrafting?
