How did you find the ToO?
How did you find this place? For me, I was on the Odyssey Scoop website reading some comments on an article and someone, I don't remember who, commented asking if anyone was a ToO member, because something really sad had happened that day. (It was the day Lisa died) I searched it, and found it, browsed as a guest for a while and then joined a little while later.
I'm a TH convert.

I was invited by my co-admin on another forum. Over there, I often use the "Admiral" (sometimes "Grand Admiral") title instead of "Administrator".

I believe I first heard about the ToO through the Unofficial AIO Podcast.

I've know of it's existence for years. I seriously started looking when I saw it on the Odyssey Scoop. So great job by Jacob Isom.

I discovered The Odyssey Scoop in early 2007. That summer, I finally found the link to this site and clicked on it. I fell in love with this place immediately and creeped on it until the spring of 2008, when I finally decided to join.
Now, I wish I would have joined a lot sooner. I could have achieved oldbie status instead of being a midbie.

I was an admin with Shadowpaw on the Town Hall and he was like "Hey yo, Top, I am making this new board that's going to open April 1st, come over to it and help me beta test it first. It has like... money and stuff."
So I did.

I think I just sort of stumbled onto it.
I found out about it via the Town Hall. There was an announcement about the ToO starting.

One day I was googling Adventures In Odyssey for some reason. I clicked on a link that led me to AIOHQ. On that website they had a link to the ToO. I immediately fell in love with the place, however I visited as a guest for a while. Then I joined a few months later.

I was on AIOWiki, because I used to practically live there. One day I was looking at an episode--I believe it was "A Class Reenactment", though it might have been "Mum's the Word"--when I saw on the episode review section a link to the review thread on the ToO. I read it, fell in love with the forum, asked my madre to let me have an account, and lo and behold, here I am. (Though I hadn't had too much experience with Internet forums, and I was, like, twelve, so I used to be really hyper and n00bish.)
"Death's got an Invisibility Cloak?" "So he can sneak up on people. Sometimes he gets bored of running at them, flapping his arms and shrieking..."
"And now the spinning. Thank you for nothing, you useless reptile."
"It unscrews the other way."

I discovered it a few years ago on odysseyscoop when I was a bit younger, and it didn't look interesting. I rediscovered it on odyssey scoop again, and decided to give it a go. It is awesome!
I don't even remember.

I actually found this site through whitsend.org so I get a chuckle out of the disclaimer at the bottom of the page. “The site is in no way affiliated with Focus on the Family.” Maybe not, but that’s how I got here.
It was rather long ago (6 years! Wow.) but I still clearly remember every detail.
It was back before whitsend.org was redone, back when it looked like this. Actually, that it the exact page that brought me here. It’s incredible that there would be an archive of that.
I was on there, and I noticed that little note on the bottom that says ‘Vote for your favorite episode’ and clicked the link. To my surprise it went to a completely different site. It went here. I looked around, taking in this new website.
I joined that very night.
I didn’t need a lurking period, I instantly realized that this was a special community that I wanted to be a part of.

I found this out from the Odyssey Scoop, which I found because of the official guide. I really liked the article they have about when some ToOers met at the live show. Actually, I probably never would've joined had it not been for snubs being so nice to me and saying to look her up if I ever joined. Thank you, snubs!
Same! Unofficial Podcast for the win!EMBEE wrote:I believe I first heard about the ToO through the Unofficial AIO Podcast.

I'm not sure either the scoop or someones blog with a link to the ToO and is on the odyssey scoop. And I wouldn't have joined when I did, but I chatted with snubs via chat and she convinced me to ask my parents
