City of Heroes
Hey, it could be! Maybe somebody other than me plays the PC game City of Heroes. For those of you who don't know what it is exactly, it's a massive multiplayer online game, like Runescape, Everquest or the like, where you design a superhero, bestow powers upon it, and go fight the forces of evil. As you can tell by my siggy, I play as TheBlaze, a helmeted hero with the power of sonic screams and energy manipulation. It's hard to tell in my avy, but if you looks reeeeally close you can see a Narnia-like lion symbol on my chest. Uh, his chest, that is.
So how 'bout it? Anybody else have an alter ego?

I've always wanted to play it, just never got around purchasing it...
I've played Freedom Force, though... which I guess is mildly comparable...

We don't have a CompUSA or Best Buy.Jeremy Cartwood wrote:You can pick up a free 15-day trial at yer local CompUSA or Best Buy or whatever for 1 cent, if you want to try it out. In fact, that's what I have, not sure if we'll keep going after that... it's extremely addictively fun, in my opinion.

the games not worth it in my opinion. went and got it then installed everything then I find out that they wanted $50 more just to play and I havent even decided if the game is worth it or not. then when I try for any help what so ever they say and I quote "Sorry you dont have an account so we cant help you". Teh so because I didnt have a credit card and I wasent about to get one they wouldnt help me.
So to me it's useless but I know my best friend is really into it.

I would maybe play a free online game some, but I just don't have the money to pay for one, and I really don't play games that much anyway, so...

Our 14-day trial has almost run out, and my dad and brothers and I really like it so we're probably going to subscribe to it. I find the character building part of it useful for other nifty things, like I'm working on a comic book right now in my spare time and if I want a superhero, boom! I just build it in City of Heroes.
