I watched Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark this evening with my dad and my brother. It's one of those movies that we all love, so it's an easy choice to agree on! \:D/ Indy. :inlove:

I watched Anne of Green Gables the other day with some friends. It was a lot of fun! We all love the movie but hadn't seen it in a while. We drank cran-raspberry juice mixed with raspberry gingerale....but we didn't take our first sips until the raspberry cordial scene. :noway: We're going to find another day to watch the second movie, which might bring more conflict, since these two friends like the second and third movies more than me because they haven't read the books and don't realize what they're missing by the terrible changes that were made....but that's a rant for a different time. ;)

Big Hero 6! \:D/ I bought it the first day it came out (Tuesday) and got to watch it today. It was just as great as I remembered from seeing it in theatres a couple of months ago!

Following, Christopher Nolan's debut film. It was very reminiscent of fifties movies, and seemed pretty good for a movie with a budget of six thousand dollars.

Also, I saw about half of Jupiter Ascending, but my friends all hated it so we left the theater in the middle. I thought it was interesting, definitely somewhat ridiculous but hardly the standard boring sci-fi/superhero flick. I may actually watch it again just to see what happens, especially now that I know it was made by the Wachowskis.

It's not really a movie, but today I watched the last two episodes of season one of the BBC show "The Paradise" with a couple of friends. We all really enjoyed the show, other than the big cliffhangers at the end of the last episode! Fortunately, season two is on Netflix (or at least Canadian Netflix - I can't promise you Americans anything for sure) ;) so we will definitely have to watch more soon!
