Package from Top!

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

Package from Top!

Post by bookworm »

After striking a deal to purchase Top’s Get Smart dvds I eagerly awaited their arrival in the mail. They came last Tuesday! I will recount the joyous experience of the opening for you so that you may share in my excitement or be jealous, whichever you see fit. ;)

When I got home from campus that night there was a package waiting for me. I knew it was Top’s because it was decorated with this lovely duct tape.

Image

Actually, I knew it was his because it was the only package I was expecting at the time. But if it wasn’t, that would have tipped me off. ;)

I opened it to find it crammed full of goodies! Not only were there the promised four Get Smart seasons, but also an extra Get Smart movie! \:D/
There were also some random scifi movies because, you know, it’s Top.

Image

And it even came with a personalized letter showcasing not only Top’s famous wit, but also his artistic talent!

Image

I’ll have to frame that or something.

And if all that wasn’t enough, there was also a dvd of exclusive bonus material!

Image

It contained the acclaimed trailer Maxwell Smart Fights Back From The Grave, as well as three videos from the 2nd ToO Election (The World If..., the Bruce Lee trailer, and the Darth Vader ad), the awesome Red Scorpion Campaign ad from the 5th ToO Election, a propaganda ad from the 9th ToO Election, a short clip of Top and someone else doing some random Hulk Hoganish rant, a video of a breakdancing dog, Hogan Shouts NOW! (precursor to Hogan Walks), two trailers for End Game (one I had never seen before), and part of the trailer for Varan the Unbelievable.

As it arrived the day after my birthday I don’t consider it a business transaction, but a personal gift. ^.^
Thank you so much Top, you are the greatest! :D This was absolutely perfect timing, I was actually just looking into finally buying these. You saved me some good money! \:D/

This made me laugh way more than it should have. ;)

Good stuff! The whole post was fun to read, bookworm.

Kudos to Top for the superb use of awesome duct tape! :D

Getting packages in the mail is great but that greatness is multiplied exponentially by cool packaging and duct tape is always a winner.

Sonic duct tape should be a higher priority, if they're making Mario duct tape. :noway:

Hope you enjoy, bookworm! Looks interesting, to say the least.

Mario and Nintendo won the war, Sonic is just a nomad now, living on whatever console will have him, with none to call his own.
